Nancee Truelove - July 28, 1947 - February 13, 2017
It is with a heavy heart to announce that longtime AAU volunteer Nancee Truelove passed away Monday, February 13, 2017. Nancee served on the Trampoline & Tumbling Executive Committee. She was the Indiana District Director for T&T and Cheerleading and was very involved with AAU Trampoline & Tumbling at the AAU Junior Olympic Games each year.
OBITUARY:
Nancee Rachel (Woodward) Truelove, 69, Vincennes, passed away Monday, February 13, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Nancee was born July 28, 1947, in Terre Haute, the daughter of Donald Abner and Elayne Bertha (Tomaskie) Woodward. She graduated from Decker High School Class of 1965 and then married John Truelove on August 20, 1966. She worked at Alice Manor Restaurant as a waitress, then was a telephone operator for AT&T, a secretary for State Farm, and director of the gymnastics program for the YMCA. She was most recently the owner and coach at E-Z Gymnastics and Tumbling. Nancee was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, AAU (Amateur Athletic Union), and USTA (United States Tumbling Association) for 20 years.
Nancee is survived by her husband of 50 years, John, of Vincennes; daughter, Jennifer (fiance Will Isler) LaCoste, of Vincennes; sons, John D. (Jill) Truelove, of Terre Haute and Jeff D. (Mellissa) Truelove, of Greenwood; seven grandchildren; and sister, Linda Eileen Woodward, of Vincennes.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Donald Fred Woodward.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 10:00 AM (EST) at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Dave Fleck officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Vincennes Chapel, 313 Church St. She will be laid to rest at Price Cemetery in Russellville, IL.
